This fan favorite vape brand already had a diehard following. So when recreational legalization began to sweep the nation, #ThisThingRips brought us on to tap into an ever-growing base of new consumers while getting the early adopters hyped up about what’s next. Our goal was to refine what OG users and shop owners already loved about the products while creating a wide-range of content that appealed to newly identified demographics.
The Proof is in the Packaging
Through focus groups and secret shopper exercises, one thing became very clear—not being able to see the product before you buy it sucks! Consumers were tired of dropping good money on vapes that were obscured behind black boxes and useless inserts. We leaned into this hard, developing packaging that was quite literally transparent. Along with being able to see exactly what you were getting, the features of the products were clearly listed on the package, making it even easier for shop owners to sling our vapes.
Content is (smo)King
Vapers come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from experienced to newbie. #TTR’s products themselves were specifically designed to cater to these demographics, so we had to make content that spoke directly to all of them, whether it be high-end and informational, or silly and tongue-in-cheek.

Early on, we realized that the sales guy behind our counter was our best friend and our greatest asset. These shop owners and employees created environments for the culture to thrive, and they were often looked at as a voice of authority for newbies looking to buy their first device. We armed them with flyers, posters, window clings—everything they needed to push our products effectively, turning our success into their success.
